My faith is strengthened through each meditation and sitting because I know without a doubt there is a heaven. A glorious higher place we graduate to where we continue to learn and grow. (Which means even more to me then it has in the past, since I was diagnosed with an aggressive Advanced Invasive Breast Cancer, which spread to 26 lymph nodes.)

Some sittings bring on surprises.

But EVERY sitting leaves me feeling whole with validation.

Since I can remember, very young, I saw people at night while laying in bed, (most children do) which I would later find out were past relatives I'd never met. Sometimes, I'd see ugly... beings. Which could have been a misinterpretation, as children perceive most things presenting themselves in the dark as threatening. I'd have dreams, often very horrible nightmares, of things happening to me or someone I loved. Sometimes, days later, I’d see on the news, there would be a story of someone who went through what I had dreamt of or would hear that something happened to a friend of an acquaintance. It wasn’t until I was quite a bit older that I realized what was happening.

I’m a regular average woman, with a normal family & life. Yes, we argue. No my house isn’t always clean. I have a traditional Catholic background. I believe in honesty, although I don’t always offer information to my husband about every little item I’ve purchased on a shopping trip. I’ve had experiences that some people consider extraordinary. I can empathize with many situations such as marriage, childbirth, nearly losing my husband to an infection, our house burning down, surgeries, and an ongoing battle with cancer. (which is why you will often see articles pertaining to cancer on my blog, Spiritual Medium at http://experiences.mediumintraining.com/).

I began my journey completely blind, at a time when there wasn’t an internet. Not only would they look at you funny in the book store when you told them what you were looking for, there just wasn’t much material on the subject. Back then, you were considered a wee bit crazy. Today, there is far more material and the subject is becoming much more acceptable. Unfortunately, with more interest and acceptance of genuine psychic ability, comes the opportunity for people to take advantage of others.

My daughter possesses an old soul, and also has a gift. She sees spirits, at times hears them, and has healing hands she is super in tune with, which comes completely natural to her. She never even knew she was doing it. Since a very young age, when someone had a pain, she'd always manage to place her little fingers right on that spot, manipulate it gently, and the pain would stop. Most often long term. I will be very excited when she understands better what she can do and find some control.
